(RTTNews) - Japanese auto production rose 7.9% year-over-year in December, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association said Tuesday. Motor vehicle sales totaled 955, 040 units. In November, auto production grew 7.4%. Passenger car production advanced 9.8% to 822, 556 units.
Old sign returned to auto shop owners
Slightly damaged but intact, an antique sign ripped from the front wall of a north Houston auto repair shop earlier this month was returned Monday to its rightful owners. Kathryn van der Pol, who runs the Adolf Hoepfl & Son Garage with her husband, Sybren, said the sign was returned by a sign collector who had purchased the item from the apparent thief.
